Most people that know me understand that I have dealt with Degenerative Disk Disease (DDD) for over 30 years. When I first started showing symptoms , it was primarily neck pain and shoulder pain. My Degenerative Disk issues are mainly in my Cervical spine and run down into my Thoracic spine. (the neck and upper back/shoulders area) However, I do have it in my lower back as well. At this point, it just hasn’t manifested too severely in my low back. Sadly, I didn’t seek out medical treatment for many, many years, simply because I was afraid of surgery.
