I was given the opportunity to review this “Jewel in Every Candle, by Amour Scents”. The first thing I want to mention is that I was super impressed with the packaging of this candle. It came triple bubble wrapped, in a box that was well packaged so as to protect the candle in transit.

I was super excited to see what my surprise was going to be inside the candle and of course, started burning it right away. Yes, I said INSIDE the candle. You have to burn the candle down, to find your “jewel”.

These candles come with earrings, a ring, or a pendant and the fun part is you don’t know what yours will be until you find it in the candle. I got the Apple Pie scent, as I am a big lover of all things sweet. It has a light scent to it, so as not to overpower your house. The longer it burned, the more I had that wonderful smell going through the house. You know the kind I mean, where you want to go look for something sweet in the fridge. After burning the candle for about 3 hours, I started to see the top of a piece of foil.

It only took about another 1 1/2 hours, and I was able to pull the foil out to find my jewel. It was wrapped in foil, then inside a plastic bag, so the “jewel” was protected from the wax.

My surprise jewel was a beautiful pair of earrings.
