I once dressed up as a bunch of grapes, using purple balloons, wearing purple leggings, and a purple jacket. Then I wore a green beanie for the stem.
My favorite memory is going trick or treating on a hayride. We lived in the country so all of the kids from church rode around to church members houses!
I remember going as Raphael from the Ninja Turtles and having a great time.

I dressed as Slimer from Ghostbusters when I was 5.I can still recall the scent of the green face paint and the green sheet I wore,lol.

My son has autism and for many years we could only walk up and down the street. He wouldn’t let us go up to the houses. You can imagine the excited I had when we got to go up to the first house and trick or treat. He has been having fun trick or treating every year since.

My favorite Halloween costume was wearing my mom’s flower girl dress fashioned into a princess when I was a kid.
My favorite costume was when I dressed up like a old woman when I was in elementary school.
One year, I was an Egyptian princess (or something along those lines). I remember I wore this shimmery gold dress, and we put glitter hair spray in my hair. Actually, my mom was supposed to do that but we argued (probably over something silly), so my aunt came over and helped me with it.
I remember in 5th grade I dressed up as a milk carton. I won the school contest too!
A friend dressed up in a bee costume with a radar dish on her back and said she was a B-WACS.
My favorite costume was a little boy who came to my door dressed up as Sherlock Holmes, including the exact pipe. It was so well made and he was just so dear.

The best costume I’ve ever had was the one that my grandma made for me when I was 6 or 7…she made a had that looked like a flower, then I dressed up everything in green so that it looked like I was the flower stem and the hat the petals.

I always enjoyed going trick or treating with my parents and brother in the neighborhood. Everyone would dress up and go to all the houses and really have a good safe time.
My favorite was when I dressed up as a pretty witch. It was fun because I don’t normally wear makeup or dresses. It was fun. (Oh, I was around 40 at the time, not a child.)

When I was a kid we used makeup at home we werent allowed to go buy special makeup and my mom always made our outfits! 🙂 We were whatever we wanted … I was witch like every year by my own choosing of course!! I wasnt so much worried about the outfit as I was about the candy and making sure it didnt slow me down !!

Years ago I dressed up as a robot, it was really neat, I made the mask out of a box, put in the OLD TV tubes as ears, had something wrapped in foil as antenna
