I am so excited to have joined a ton of other bloggers this year once again to bring you some wonderful opportunities to win some awesome stuff! Of course, we all know it is perfect timing since Christmas is right around the corner!! I can’t believe it is a little more than a month away!!
I have had so many changes go on in my household this year! We have been blessed with a new grandson and our other grandchildren are growing by leaps and bounds!! We have our oldest 2 granddaughters living back with us and they are thriving and doing amazing. I have started homeschooling the 12 year old and oh my!…what an adventure that is turning out to be!! (I will be posting more on my blog about that later, so be sure to come back and check out our updates!!)
We are super excited for Christmas this year, even though financially it will be a little different. Yet, I believe those are the years we remember the most. I think it gives us a chance to focus more on the reason for the season and appreciate Christmas and the love of family!! At any rate, I just wanted to update you on me and my family. Phew, can you believe the year is almost over? I mean seriously, SEPTEMBER? We only have 4 months before we enter the New Year!! When I think of the term “September to Remember” , I can’t help relate that to the crazy weather we are having in Middle Tennessee this year! Today is Sept. 10th and it is going to be a heat index of 100 degrees!! We are on track to set a record that was set back in the 1800’s! So I promise you this year will be a September to Remember!

Are you ready for your kids to be back in school? I know for my family, this year is a little different, as I have decided to home school through a free public school system. It is working out wonderful and we are excited as a family to have the kids getting their education here at home!! I noticed I didn’t spend 1/10 of what I would normally spend on school supplies and new school clothes However, I have spent extra money here and there for the initial set up for making part of a room in the house a “classroom”.
