    We try to go to the spray park once a week. That’s play and reward all in one.

    When my children were young there wasn’t a lot of money for trips to the beach or water parks, so we would take a picnic lunch to the park and playground. On the hottest days we would swim in the community pool. On stormy days our indoor activities included reading and movies or TV

    I usually get bubbles, sidewalk chalk, swim, and get art supplies so they can draw and paint. I also have just dance and board games for when it is too hot to be outside.
