We try to go to the spray park once a week. That’s play and reward all in one.
My idea of play in the summer is reading a book while floating in the pool.
The 13 yr old goes and visits family during the summer, so I’m lucky enough not to have to keep her entertained.
Pool time is always fun.
We love anything with water!
The kids go to day camp at the local park They love it but not as much as I do
we go to local events, the splash park, out biking swimming
I don’t have any kids but when I was a kid we played outside and made up games.
We get wet outside!

We swim at the lake a lot in the summer!
When my children were young there wasn’t a lot of money for trips to the beach or water parks, so we would take a picnic lunch to the park and playground. On the hottest days we would swim in the community pool. On stormy days our indoor activities included reading and movies or TV

I don’t have any young ones to keep busy during the summer months anymore!
My idea of play for summertime is getting to catch up on my papercrafting projects.
Going swimming
We have fun in the summer by reading, visiting new places, making things, and having picnics.
We take the kids to the lake for fun during the summer months. We like to play yard games too anything that is outside is play for summer time.
We spend time at the pool and the park.
We spend a lot of time at the pool, and doing other outdoor activities.
We spend more time outside! We now have a greenhouse with a different variety of plants and they enjoy watering and picking the different fruits and veggies!
I set up a slip and slide for the kidos.
I sign up the kids for sports, YMCA, take them to the pool or beach.
We get outside as much as possible! We visit parks, beaches, and walking trails. It tires them out and we all have fun 🙂

I usually get bubbles, sidewalk chalk, swim, and get art supplies so they can draw and paint. I also have just dance and board games for when it is too hot to be outside.
We love hiking, swimming, and camping!
My idea of play is hanging out with my grandson during the summer.
Take them to the park or the swimming pool.
We take many trips to the beach and/or river for camping and playing in the water.
My idea of summer fun is swimming, going to the parks, lots of reading
Encourage your children to spend time outdoors and enjoy nature. Plan trips to parks, beaches, or local hiking trails. You can go on bike rides, have picnics, play outdoor sports, or even set up a small garden together.
Visiting the many parks in the area keeps us busy during the day.

My daughter is taking a science class this summer. It’s crazy hot here in Arizona, so I go anywhere there’s a/c.
