You’re never too old to trick or treat!

  2. Bea LaRocca says:

Always check the weather forecast for Halloween night, if you are taking the kiddos out around the neighborhood and it is going to be dry but cold, make sure that they are wearing leggings or thermal undergarments beneath their costumes.

  3. Clem says:

    Check the candy before eating

  4. Will G says:

    Shop the sales.

  5. mami2jcn says:

If they’re forecasting rain, look for indoor trick or treating opportunities. Sometimes shopping malls will have trick or treating.

  6. Cathy French says:

Wait until you get home and let the parents go through the candy before eating anything. Of course, the parents are going to steal some lol

I always put a chair in my driveway and give candy out

Have a nice cozy fire going to keep warm while handing out candy.

  10. Cindy Merrill says:

Never pass up free samples like drink coozies, lip balm, stickers, ect- these come in handy for the “blue Pumpkin Kids ( those with food allergies).

  11. Marisela Zuniga says:

Look for local Halloween events in your area! Kids love going to these since there’s always games for them to play and other activities

  12. Kim Avery says:

Check to see if your town does trunk or treat. In our town they do plus local businesses do a special day where kids can trick or treat down the main street.

  13. Maria Malaveci says:

    Got to Costco for candy!

  14. Rita Wray says:

I buy my candy at Walmart.

  15. Lisa D says:

My tip would be to go to the houses that look like they want you to go there!

  16. Jodi Hunter says:

Carry back up batteries for the flashlights.

  17. Eva Millien says:

Make Trick or Treating even more fun by having candy stations set up in the yard, one person per station overseeing! At each station there is an easy peasy contest, grabbing numbered ducks out of bucket of water, to see how many times they get to dip their hand into the candy/treat sack, guessing how many jelly beans that kind of thing, of course nobody loses and they just get to have fun!

  18. Jeanna Massman says:

My tip is to offer small toys for children who are allergic to ingredients in some candies.
