I wasn’t around for the original Roaring 20’s, but I am looking forward to this year for certain!! I have a ton of reason for it to be “Roaring”. My reasons will probably be so much different than most people though. I have 3 grandchildren that will be turning 3 this year, in addition to one that will be 4 and yet another that will be turning 1 at the end of the year. So as you can see, it will certainly be “Roaring” around this Nana’s house!!
This post and giveaway truly has nothing to do with my grandbabies….but as a Nana, I have to admit, I am always wanting to brag and share about the them!!

I can not believe we are almost at the end of 2019!! Yes, winter is here! Well, maybe not officially yet. Here is a fun fact: my birthday falls on the first day of winter. However, I do want to mention for a lot of the country we have already had some wintry weather. Here in middle Tennessee we have seen our first small snowfall. Which to be honest, is very unusual!! We don’t usually get that much snow and when we do it is normally in January and February. I have a feeling that we are not only in for a very cold winter, but that we will probably see more snow than we normally do.
I am happy to celebrate the beginning of winter this year by bringing my followers yet another AMAZING giveaway blog hop!!! I am so excited to have joined a ton of other bloggers this year once again to bring you some wonderful opportunities to win some awesome stuff! Of course, we all know it is perfect timing since Christmas is right around the corner!! I can’t believe it is a little more than a month away!!
I have had so many changes go on in my household this year! We have been blessed with a new grandson and our other grandchildren are growing by leaps and bounds!! We have our oldest 2 granddaughters living back with us and they are thriving and doing amazing. I have started homeschooling the 12 year old and oh my!…what an adventure that is turning out to be!! (I will be posting more on my blog about that later, so be sure to come back and check out our updates!!)
We are super excited for Christmas this year, even though financially it will be a little different. Yet, I believe those are the years we remember the most. I think it gives us a chance to focus more on the reason for the season and appreciate Christmas and the love of family!! At any rate, I just wanted to update you on me and my family. I am in middle Tennessee and we have had record temperatures all Fall season so far, but I am thankful that this week we have finally cooled down into the 60’s and 70’s!! Maybe by the time that Halloween gets here, it will be still be nice and cool!!
I have a 13 yr old, 12 yr old, 3 yr old, three 2 yr olds., and a newborn grandchildren to celebrate Halloween with this year!! Oh what fun it should be!! I live in a neighborhood that sadly doesn’t get a lot of trick or treaters, so having grandchildren to celebrate with makes the holiday enjoyable.
