Mosquitos Repellent

Avoiding Mosquito Bites WITHOUT using spray!

I have been one of those parents that have always used the variety of bug sprays that you buy at your local department store , that you spray all over your family to avoid the horrendous attack of mosquitoes each year.  It is expensive and they don’t work half the time!

I  want to share with you a WONDERFUL way to avoid these nasty little things WITHOUT using chemicals and the horrible smell that goes along with it.   In addition to mosquito bites being itchy and uncomfortable, they have the potential to carry West Nile Virus and other diseases.    So protecting yourself and your family is important!

I know that some people may have used this method before, but for those of you have never heard of it, I am here to tell you it is the PERFECT solution for my family!!    My husband REFUSES to use the spray and yet he is  the main one in the family who always gets ate up the most!!  So prior to me finding out about this new way of repelling mosquitoes, he refused to use anything.   I also have a new granddaughter who LOVES to be outside, but she is like her mama, and is allergic to mosquito bites.   When they bite this baby , she welts up and it is awful for her!!  She is barely a year old , so we obviously don’t want to put poisonous spray on her.   We also want her to be able to let her go outside and enjoy the summertime.

Ok, so are you ready to hear the simplest solution ever?    All you need to do is go spend $2-3 on a box of fabric softener sheets.   Take the sheet and rub it all over your bare skin.   THAT’S IT….Easy Peasy!!   It will last the whole time my husband is mowing the yard, or whatever he is doing outside that day.   We have not had ANY mosquito bites on anybody this year, since we have been using this method!!

I have used a variety of brands, so I don’t really think it is any particular one.   We have been using Gain recently, just because we can get them inexpensively at the local Dollar store.    The baby and my hubby have been able to spend as much time outside as they want and NO BUG BITES at all!!          So I encourage you to stop using the costly , poisonous bug sprays to keep mosquitoes off your family and just grab you some fabric softener sheets.   Now I know that  some people may have sensitivities, and I can’t speak for that.  However, I can say that my daughter has really sensitive skin and she uses them without any issues.   If you have skin sensitivities, you may want to only try  a small section first to see if you have any negative results.

PLEASE BE SURE TO COMMENT BELOW , let me know f you have ever used this method for Mosquito Repellent?  Or if you try it , how it works out for you?   Do you have another method that you use other than the sprays?   I love hearing from my followers to see how things go for them!!

Fabulous trick! I absolutely refuse to spray my 11 month old with mosquito repellent because it’s so strong of a smell. I’m going to have to try this!

When I read the title, I was like “OOooo, tell me more!” I hate mosquito bites, but the repellent always smells so horrible and makes me cough. I’ll definitely try this method.
