Cream Cheese Danishes

I found this recipe somewhere (can’t recall where, wish I could give them credit) and HAD to share it with my followers! It is wonderful, and my best advice is to double it if you have family members like mine. They devoured them in less than 5 minutes and were screaming for more!!

2 Cans Crescent Rolls
1 pkg Cream Cheese (softened)
2 TB Melted Butter
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup White Sugar
1 Tsp Vanilla

GLAZE:
1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
1 Tsp Vanilla
4 Tsp Milk

PreHeat oven to 350
In a bowl , mix your cream cheese, sugar and vanilla flavoring up. Set this mixture aside.
DANISH
Lay out your Crescent Rolls and take 2 of the triangles and push together and seal the seams , so that end up with a rectangle. Do that with all of them and you will have 8 rectangles. DANISH2 Brush the Crescent Roll with the melted butter and sprinkle 1 tsp of brown sugar on top. ( I added a couple pinches and didn’t measure…just make sure you have a little brown sugar all over the top of them) Then roll the Crescent Roll starting at the long end. Pinch your ends together. Once you have it rolled, then take it from the long side and roll into spiral, like a snake. Now you want to push the center of it with your fingers so you can put your filling in the center. The sides should be stretched and should look like this once you fill them. DANISH4 Get your cream cheese mixture and put about 2 Tbsp of the mixture in the middle of your Crescent Rolls. Bake for about 16-18 minutes, until golden brown.
MAKE THE GLAZE:
Mix together the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla flavoring.
Drizzle the glaze over your danishes as soon as they come out of the oven.
Voila’………Home made Danish’s!

Lightening Power Bank

LIGHTNING Power Bank

I own several Power Banks, however I have to say that this one is my new favorite!!!  I always grab this one before I will grab anything else.   Most of the power banks out there, will have lights that will tell you how much power you have left, but to be honest, you never really know how long it will last.   The Lightening Power Bank is a step above the rest, as it gives you a digital readout with the percentage of how much is left on the charge. What a FANTASTIC feature!! I use a Portable Charger all the time, but you never know how much charge it has and if it will go dead on you as you are out running your errands. This Lightning Power Bank, I can pick it up and know ok, I have 62% charge left on it, and I am good to go. read more

Grandparents raising grandbabies

Angela natalie goofing off (2)

I look around my life and I find that there are so many people that I know that are grandparents and they are raising their grandchildren.  Where are the parents?   Sadly, this is the world that we live in, we see more and more families with this situation.  I never thought in a million years, that I would be joining the ranks of this group of grandparents, but here I am.

I have 2 beautiful grand daughters, ages 8 and 9 that I love with all my heart. I have been in their lives since the day they were born, in fact my husband (Papa) cut the youngest ones umbilical cord.  They were at my house as much, if not more, than they were in their own homes.  You see, they lived right behind me in an apartment that my husband and I own until last spring.  My daughter decided to move and shortly after that , the girls came to live with me. read more
